How do you use Xtreme Gardening MYKOS?
MYKOS Application:
- Add to the hole, directly around the plant roots. Mykos must come in contact with the roots. Set plant and backfill.
- 1 – 2 tbsp per plant around each plant hole or directly to roots.
- Water with Azos & Xtreme tea. Double application rates and mix into top 6″ of soil surrounding the plant hole.
What does MYKOS do for plants? MYKOS protects your plants against drought & heat stress. As well as keeping harmful pathogens from making root contact. MYKOS can also improve the soil structure both in clay soil and sandy soil. MYKOS also helps break down organic compounds and convert them into plant available plant food.
Can you mix MYKOS with water? MYKOS WP: If you want to introduce your already established plant with mycorrhizal fungi, Mykos WP is a great way to add more microbial biology to your growing medium. Root Drench: Add 3 tbsp of WP per 5-gallons of water and mix thoroughly. Apply at least 2 cups of WP solution to the base of each plant.

Can you use too much mycorrhizae?
Can you use too much mycorrhizae in your plants? NO! There aren’t any negative effects to your plants or your soil if you use more then the suggested amount of Big Foot Mycorrhizae. However, over-watering plants with any additive can lead to the soil and the plants’ roots not receiving enough oxygen.
Can you put mycorrhizae on top of soil?
Mycorrhizal products are often used by gardeners when sowing seeds, when transplanting, or to inoculate a bed before planting, working them into the top 4-6 inches. Inoculated soils will actually improve year after year, so it’s a sustainable product.
How do you use MYKOS granular?
1 – 2 tbsp per plant around each plant hole or directly to roots. Sowing Seed: 1 tbsp per foot. 1/2 tsp per cell / plug.
Rock Wool Cubes:
- Using a small stake or fork, poke several 1/4 – 1/2″ holes in the bottom of the plant hole.
- Add 1 – 2tsp to hole, directly under plant roots.
- Set plant remember to water.
What does Mykos WP do?
Mykos WP is a beneficial soil microbe that enhances root structures by forming a symbiotic relationship with a host plant. Acting as an extension of the roots, Mykos increases the plant’s ability to source nutrients and water more efficiently in exchange for carbohydrates.
How do you use Dynomyco?
DYNOMYCO® requires direct contact with the roots of your plants to achieve maximum effect. It can be applied by mixing into the growing media, applying directly in the planting hole or as a root-ball coating.
What is recharge for plants?
Recharge is more than just an instant compost tea. It brings dead soil back to life and adds new life to your soilless media. When you water with Recharge, you get bigger roots and better nutrient absorption for your plants.
Can recharge burn plants?
Recharge does not force-feed nutrition to your plants, it makes more nutrition available to your plants. Your plants will only take what they need from the soil. Recharge will not burn your plants at any concentration.
Can I use recharge every watering?

When should you stop using recharge?
Recharge can be used until peak bloom. Just past half-way through flowering you can stop applying Recharge. Flowering Stage in Soil: Use 8-12 ounces of Recharge solution around the base of each stalk once or twice a week during the transition into flowering with little or no runoff.
Can you foliar spray too much?
If the leaves are dripping wet, you have used too much. It may take you a few attempts to get it right. A great tip is to use a foliar sprayer that can be adjusted to expel a fine mist. Again, the finer the mist, the better it will be for the plant to absorb.

Does recharge work with synthetic nutrients?
Just like Trichoderma, Mycorrhizae help build the immune systems of your plants. These two work well together and can be found in one of our favorite products, Recharge. Trichoderma is more resilient when used with synthetic nutrients and will continue to feed even with the use of synthetic, salt-based nutrients.
Can I use both organic and synthetic fertilizers together?
You can use both organic and synthetic fertilizers. For immediate results, you may need to feed with synthetic fertilizers while adding organic fertilizer blends to rebuild soil health over time. Whatever fertilizer you choose to use, make sure to apply it according to the package directions.
What does recharge do to the soil?
Recharge is magic for your soil. It’s a natural soil conditioner, replacing the need to apply tons of compost to achieve organic matter and microbes in the soil. The powder is mixed with water creating a dark brown coffee color.
Does recharge help with nutrient lockout?
Another huge advantage, is it helps to eliminate nutrient lockouts from PH swings. If your PH is too high or too low, it is difficult for your plant to use certain nutrients. With RECHARGE, your PH range can be much wider, and your plant doesn’t care.

Use with every watering as needed. Mix well and adjust pH accordingly. Shake well before each use. Add 1 tsp (5ml) per gallon of water, Mix well and adjust pH to 6.2-7.0 before application.
